Chitwan, On Sunday morning, multiple vehicle collisions occurred on the Narayangadh-Muglin road—three vehicles at Jugedi and two at Simaltal. According to the Chitwan District Administration Office, the crash at Simaltal resulted in three injuries.
At approximately 3:20 AM in Jugedi, a Tata Safari coming from Muglin to Narayangadh rear-ended a stationary jeep, which in turn hit another jeep ahead of it. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, according to the Chitwan Administration. This incident took place near the Jugedi police checkpoint in Bharatpur-29.
Later that morning, around 6:35 AM, a mini-truck collided with an Indian bus at Simaltal. While the bus passengers were unscathed, three individuals in the truck sustained injuries. The collision occurred when the mini-truck heading towards Narayangadh from Muglin collided with the Indian bus traveling in the opposite direction. The bus driver fled the scene after the crash.
The injured include Rajan Chhetri, the 28-year-old truck driver from Dhading, who hurt his right hand; Manj Rawal Barai, a 30-year-old from Bara, who sustained a neck injury; and his 6-year-old son Ashish, who suffered internal abdominal injuries, as reported by the police.
